The Nook Nog

There is no polite way to say this. We love Christmas at The Nook. Not a tasteful Christmas. A Griswold Christmas. Every year we do a Christmas weekend, and we geek out.

Our friend David Arruda comes in and plays piano. He is a local jazz pianist, known for playing around the world. He plays the Christmas songs you already know, and then we sing along. Santa has made some appearances. Lots of surprises, and fun times had by all. It is a Christmas holiday miracle, and it happens inside these orange walls. We are so very lucky to be a community center.

The Nook Nog is what you order while all of that is happening. Eggnog, mixed with the Local Buzz, finished with whipped cream. Hot or iced. Extremely popular. Very decadent. Very sweet. But if you gotta go, go with a smile.
