Linguiça Rolls

A linguica roll from The Nook

Linguiça rolls were the first thing we made at The Nook that was going on the menu.

We only did two real revisions. We already knew what we wanted it to taste like. Nostalgic, like the places we went growing up, with a Nook twist.

We treat the bread almost like a pretzel bun, with a little sea salt that we affectionately call our “Sea Salt Sprinkle.” We also add cheese inside the linguiça rolls. The cheese is a mix of Colby, cheddar, and American.

Over the years our linguiça rolls have become a staple in Fairhaven, Massachusetts. A lot of our customers say they are the best around.

We are far too humble to say they are the best around. In fact, we would never say THEY ARE THE BEST AROUND!

They are salty, with a garlicky kick, and they make an amazing base for a breakfast sandwich.

We bake them fresh throughout the day, so you are getting them fresh and hot. Or at least warm.

We go through these things like crazy.
