Cinnamon Rolls

Here at The Nook, we take our cinnamon rolls pretty seriously. They are a sometimes item. More winter than summer. When the weather turns, they show up in the case. When it does not, we behave.

They start with a brioche-style dough. Soft, a little rich, already sure of itself before the cinnamon gets a vote.

Then Katie’s cream cheese frosting. People lose their minds over it. We are not going to talk them out of it.

We do not stick to one roll. A cocoa hot chocolate one, with marshmallows and chocolate ganache in the swirl. A pistachio one. Other flavors, when the mood hits. If it is in the case, that is the one today.
